Augustina Austin is a young Ghanaian student, born in the “ABINA is a name I have used for this platform, because it is an African name, which my focus group can relate to. I didn’t want to go for a name, such as: ‘African woman’ or whatsoever. I want to keep it short and catchy. Abina defines a woman who is of African origin, who is beautiful, aware, intelligent, and ambitious and she never forgets where she comes from. Apart from writing about fashion and culture I highlight issues which African Diaspora often deals with. Cause the truth is: once you move to the western world, you deal with at least two cultures.
