MTV has made it known: MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) will take place in Lagos Nigeria, on 11 December 2010. This annual celebration of African music and culture will take place in the EKO, Expo hall. The most outstanding musicians from Sub-Saharan Africa and from the rest of the world will perform this day. This is another platform whereby Africa is celebrated. This is something we should not miss!
This year, the selected African artists are nominated over 12 categories. The nominies are made known and it seems as Nigeria has 13 nominations: P-square, Wande Coal, D-Banj, just to name a few. This is not surprising, considering how Nigeria is taking the music industry by storm. Artists like Fally Ipupa(Congo Republic), Daddy owen(Kenya), also seem to have a great chance in winning a MAMA-trophy.
The MTV Africa Music Awards will be aired live on MTV Base. 11 December. You don’t want to miss.
