Finally the Miss Excellence(miss Excel) Finalists have been made known! 14 Equally bold and beautiful contestants of African, Afro-Caribbean and/or Latin descent are in the running of becoming the Miss Excel Netherlands 2011. On the 24th of September was the official Kick-off, wherein the ladies were prepared for the 5-week workshop whereby they will be prepared for the Grand finale which will take place on the 17th of December 2011 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Miss Excellence is a beauty pageant aimed to empower (autonomy) young African, African Caribbean, African American and Latin American women between 17-27 years old in the Netherlands. Not only the inner beauty, but also inner motivation is one of her goals. The Miss Excellence workshop will provide the 14 finalists the right tools on their way to the role of becoming the ambassador. The winner will be crowned Miss Excellence Ambassador and act as role models for young adolescent girls and on both national and international level to give her role interpretation.
The Miss Excellence finals will take place on December 17 as of 20.00-03.00 pm in the King's Party & Events. Ticket sales will start in October.
