H&M goes African in Spring 2012! All because of Marni

The next top fashion designer who is will produce H&M's Spring 2012 collection is Italian fashion label Marni. Marni is not African, obviously, but this collection has a lot of African elements. The African elements are the colourful prints in the collection. Remarkable how Africa’s colourfulness is now taking a hold of the Westies.

The overall style of the H&M collection is 70’s styled signature prints mixed with African prints. Which is an overall clash of prints and patterns. Just like in Versace's collection for H&M, which was in stores last month, Marni will produce menswear, womenswear and accessories. Marni's creative director Consuelo Castiglioni states that the upcoming collection is about vivid colours and bold prints, inspired tribal African designs. I know not everyone is going to love it. Abina likes the African elements, though. The collection will hit 260 stores worldwide on March 8, 2012.
